Maia is a communications specialist with experience spanning government, post-secondary, and event sectors. Her career includes internal and external communications roles where she managed media relations and crisis communications during periods of industrial action and cyber incidents, led on executive speechwriting and event planning for organization-wide town halls, and built internal training programs to strengthen communications capabilities across the organizations.
